In Japanese, 'hori' means to dig, this tool is widely used in Japan for harvesting vegetables. A very handy tool, with many uses. The pointed end can be used for digging, the serrated edge can be used for dividing bulbs/rhizomes and the remaining sharp side can be used for cutting roots, twine, stems, etc. Comes with protective sheath.
We find ourselves using this most days in the garden!
